Our third tour to Groningen included two days in the neighbouring province of Ostfriesland, Germany.
Sietze de Vries was our Organist/Guide once again and the historic instruments we heard and played included the oldest playable organ in Germany (Rysum, built 1457/1513) and the second largest surviving Arp Schnitger organ restored to its original state (Norden, 1688/92).
Harlingen and Rysum.
Pilsum and Marienhafe.
Osteel and Norden.
Uithuizen and Groningen Martinikerk.
Improvisation Masterclass at Niezijl and Tour Group Photo.
